See how any split of your race compares to thousands of real performances.
This tool compares any time you enter — a full race result or a single split — against every matching performance in the database, and tells you how it ranks. A percentile of 80 means your time is faster than 80% of the performances on record for that distance.
Because splits are checkpoints within a longer race, you can check the same race at several points to see where your strengths and weaknesses show up — for example, a strong first 200m of a 400m paired with a weaker final 100m.
One honest caveat: this database leans heavily toward high-level competitive athletes, so most percentiles will look lower than you might expect. A "40th percentile" split here can still be a very good time in absolute terms — don't let the number alone discourage you.
